a

20
extremely
bright
Light
Emitting
Diodes
(LEDs)
to
create
a
pulsating,
chasing,

light
source

LEDs
are
powered
by
four
C
cell
batteries
that
will
last
for
up
to
100
hours.
A
low
battery
indicator
illuminates
when
there
is
about
20
percent
of
battery
life
remaining.
The
SOS
TurboFlare's
lens
and
body
are
made
of
DuPont
Surlyn,
a
unique
ionomer
class
material
of
unbelievable
strength
and
resistant
to
jet
fuel,
gasoline,
diesel
fuels,
road
salts
and
chlorine.
The
body
is
also
shock
and
vibration
resistant
and
weatherproof.
Without
batteries,
the
SOS
TurboFlare
weighs
just
over
half
a
pound,
and
weighs
1.2
pounds
with
batteries.

inches

inches

Visibility
from
the
pulsing
light
is
more
than
5
miles.
The
unit

activated
by
pushing
an

on
